Bugatti: The Galibier will also be hybrid

According to the number of Car due out this month, the Bugatti Galibier, the second-era model for the French manufacturer Volkswagen will have a brand new hybrid engine. This was revealed to the magazine, Wolfgang Durheimer in person, the number of a Bugatti. Car has accompanied the article on the new supercar in Molsheim (BTW: the site will be expanded to produce the Galibier) with a large number of official data.

The Galibier, according to the British magazine, will be completed in just over 3,000 copies of his business career, and mount the same 8.0 W16 of the Veyron, combined with the same dual-clutch gearbox. The big news in the "usual" festival of horses, performance materials and super-exclusive, will be the ability for customers to choose a hybrid engine, a variant, designed primarily for European customers.

Durheimer then suggested that the Bugatti range will consist of two models in the future: the monstrous Veyron therefore, will have an heir. "We want to see how far we can push the brand," says Durheimer. The manager did however indicate that the project has not yet been fully defined: "In the next meeting with Winterkorn will talk about the size of the machine.

The design will be finalized only in the third quarter of the year and we have to decide whether to do it on a monocoque carbon frame or sun-type aluminum spaceframe.
