The DS5 is a radical and almost revolutionary product for the same Citroen, always used to churn out cars well away from the usual fees. Just a few details to be aware of: the chrome strip continuing to the front headlight, like it or not, is a break, and significant personalities, as well as the whole trend of the side.
The interior, especially along the console, introducing new concepts and use unknown format. Even the appearance of "logistics" is quite peculiar: the DS5 is in fact the first Citroen to be produced at Peugeot's Sochaux factory, where it is currently assembled HYbrid4 hybrid platform that also equips the HYbrid4 3008.
This engine is currently the only available in range and the only numbers that you know, drugs too: the 163 hp delivered by the 2.0 HDi 37 are matched to the electric motor for a combined output of 200 hp and just 99 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Outliers, by car, despite a long car body 4:52 1.85 meters wide, which allows to get a cabin for five people and a large 465-liter trunk.
Just the interior is a design element DS5. Citroen offers wide range of customization, especially about the finish, and the picture shows items that break the tunnel as "multi-key from which you can also control the navigation system, power windows and switch to manage the hybrid system.
The Citroen DS5 will then be equipped with the most modern and sophisticated safety systems and accident prevention. Still no indication on the price, much more complicated to predict than the DS3 and DS4 are closely related to the projects C3 and C4, while the DS5 originates from the C4 Picasso.
However it is not absurd to imagine a level of access comparable or even higher than the C5. The start of commercial is scheduled for early 2012.
