F1 2011: changed everything, but nothing changed!

On the track in Melbourne we saw the first act of the 2011 F1 world. and many were the interesting features for the beginning of this new league: the return of the Kers and mobile wing to be used for regulation, only dall'inseguitore during an attempt to overtake the debut of Pirelli tires and the many questions about their actual performance in the race.

There was a new creature Newey, Red Bull RB7, with the curiosity to find out if the rules changed to the overwhelming superiority of the team was confirmed in 2011. There was the curiosity to see the work of the former naughty boy of F1 Sebastian Vettel, who serves as World Champion in office and to understand whether and how the difficult balance with the "old" Mark Webber will be replicated.

There was the expectation that the new McLaren arrembante Hamilton, returning from a World Cup 2010 threw out badly, it would lead immediately to the attack. There was the curiosity to see if the F 150 could be a real Ferrari and the ransom if Fernando Alonso was now focused on the attack.

We were also skeptically curious to check the declared ambitions of the Mercedes and misguided statements Winter Schumacher on his personal ambitions in the world. We had many responses from the Australian Grand Prix, with some expected, others less so. The new rules, the mobile wing in particular, have given us a lively show, with a race by a lot of overtaking, a good signal to be scrutinized in the next GP.

Moreover, the most awaited confirmation, Red Bull RB7, while not using one of two weapons technology permitted by regulation, or KERS, Vettel has stradominato with practice and race, taking the lead embarrassing to all opponents. The new Red Bull has confirmed a special carriage with Webber, but with much smaller gaps, further proof, for those who still were not convinced that Sebastian Vettel was really a plus ...

McLaren is not far from the car in Australia and unbeatable RB7 Hamilton has given a lot more than his team-mate Jenson Button. The disappointment, big, huge even after trial, it was the Ferrari. The F150 is suffering, says Domenicali, "lack of load on the front and uses less well at the time of his opponents the new Pirelli tires.

So essentially for Ferrari aerodynamic problems and land use, potentially solvable. But the next, close together, two Asian Grand Prix, will not allow for the time changes, if not in the Regulations. We hope and are confident enough in the meantime in the determination of unchanged Alonso, suffering from a miserable start that relegated him to ninth place, and the newfound clarity of Massa, author of a good race.

The debut of Pirelli tires instead has dispelled many fears on the eve, good behavior, the average fuel consumption, no anomaly. The hard tires are clearly less effective and less of their grip have suffered in particular the Ferrari, but overall it was a great debut for new supplier in Formula 1.

Finally, the disastrous budget of the new Mercedes. Ever competitive, even after trial, did not finish the race with either car: Rosberg has confirmed this to be an intelligent first guide, the veteran has sadly Schumi "washing" the qualifications and modestly interpreted the race. Maybe it will be the final year of the Mercedes in F1, will certainly be the last to return to Schumacher.

So much has changed in the 2011 Formula 1 ... but nothing has changed. The values in the field just seem the same as discussed in the 2010 season. A short distance ahead of Malaysia, Sepang, and Shanghai, China. We will have more answers, before returning to Europe, providing new amendments to the followers of the Red Bull unbeatable.
