The Ford Focus ECOnetic will be launched the third generation during the show later this month in Amsterdam (April 22-May 1), before debuting at dealerships from spring 2012. This version uses the eco-engine in version 1.6 TDCi 105 bhp, even traveling 34 kilometers on one liter of petrol and emits less than 95 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
The modifications to the engine ECOnetic involve the use of a new injection system, turbocharger and a new traditional needed consists of Start & Stop, low-resistance tires, a system for recovering energy during braking, the gear ratios more long and used by machines with ecological vocation, in addition to the active front grille to improve the aerodynamic drag.
