Honda NSX: the new hybrid will be

The new Honda NSX will be and will be hybrid. And 'what the president said Takanobu Ito of the Japanese during an interview with the Shanghai Motor Show. The car is going to happen to the glorious spiritual NSX which inherit the driving satisfaction and high performance. But will also have a strong "green soul", appearing as a compendium of all the technologies on hybrid collected from the house in recent years.

According to Ito's Nipponese engineers are working hard to achieve the target of this work that, ultimately, is due to start from scratch: the project for a new NSX was in fact initiated under the leadership of the old Honda, which had designed a machine designed for a market that had not yet come to terms with the economic crisis and the need to reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.

But since 2008 there are many things to be changed and that market has changed radically. So fans can finally say goodbye to the dream to see the new NSX with a V8 or V10 howling: under the hood of the next generation of the car (which is not even certain the mid-engine architecture), will end with a driving scheme philosophy very similar to that seen on the CR-Z Hybrid.

Ito did not specify time of arrival in showrooms around the world, but merely to make a joke that leaves us quite puzzled: "NSX will be the big brother of the muscular and CR-Z Hybrid." Last but not least, the presence of hybrid necessarily mean the abandonment of the rear-wheel drive in favor of the integral.
