Jaguar SUV: incoming anti BMW X5

Jaguar SUV would be thinking of producing a set against a BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne and Mercedes ML. A car designed to highlight even more closely the German competition that will take at least 4 / 5 years of development: the first is to fill the bottom of the range. Talking about design at this level, little more than speculation, is practically useless.

Technically, however, is not very risky to assume that the car sports an aluminum frame, like the XJ, and share many common technologies with versions top of the range Range Rover. Compared to the latter, however, the SUV of the Jaguar should be more oriented to a road off-road use. It 's interesting to note that, despite some detractors that time advances, the end of the' era of the SUV seems to be very far away.

Indeed, while the concept of sport-utility is gradually "democratizing" (see the many SUV "small" size, also sold by the brand premium), other technical and stylistic development of high-end SUV did not seem to be stationary. Weight reduction and emissions with more modern designs, continue to keep alive a segment that can apparently survive to the environment.

More than just a temporary fashion then.
