Jaguar working on a brand new SUV

Jaguar SUV would be developing a new generation that anticipates the market within four years. The aim of the British brand has to compete with Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Mercedes ML and the Range Rover siblings. According to reports leaked to house the new SUV Jaguar will build on a aluminum body sharing many components with the range of premium Range Rover models.

Nevertheless Jaguar aims to establish a sui generis car, personality is evident in terms of design and dynamic. Presumably, therefore, think that the Jaguar branded SUV will be devoted to comfort and long trips on the highway rather than dirt roads, so as to compete directly with X5 and Cayenne.

The news of the coming years, however, do not stop there. In Serbia there are also a new model sedan that will replace the X-Type placing a notch below the older sister XF. The objective is to build a car shaped like a coupe that can comfortably accommodate four passengers, the style of the Audi A5 and A7.

Plans to increase the brand's presence in the market (currently boasts 16% in Britain and only 5% in the U.S. which is why the arrival of an SUV would be more necessary than ever). From the cauldron of the new models could also come out - within two years - a four-wheel drive XJ sedan. Indeed, although 75% of models sold in the U.S.

is front-wheel drive, about 70% of Jaguar are sold in cold climates and cold climates where a 4x4 would be a good choice. The last ace in the hole of the mark could be the last heir of the legendary XKE sports car for the 1961 specifications and original would position themselves outside the segment of the Porsche Boxster, BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK.
