Japan Nuclear Earthquake 2011: Honda restart production

Japanese companies are slowly restarting production after the terrible earthquake that devastated the island last month. Even Honda's plants will reopen April 11, Saitama and Suzuka, and said in a statement issued from the house that "all Honda plants in Japan will be in operation as of this date." Continue reading "the production and shipment of components to be used in the production in foreign countries has taken over from yesterday (April 4th, ndr)".

The resumption of production by Honda is an encouraging message for the entire auto industry that has suffered, and much of the earthquake in Japan. However the supply of spare parts is still unstable because "the production of components and vehicles in the Honda plant will resume at the outset with a regimen of 50% compared to the original production plan." It will be a sort of test where Honda will monitor the situation and will consider increasing the amount of production to return to standard levels.
