Kia K2

Kia has the K2, B-segment sedan derived from the Rio, at the show in Shanghai. The model is reserved for the Chinese market and will be manufactured at Dongfeng Chinese factories. To be followed by a 5-door sedan and a common set of models will be given to premium customers in that segment alone is worth 16% of the rich market.

Although dedicated to the Chinese market, it is possible that the K2 advances at least in part the appearance of the Rio sedan, expected to debut at New York. The K2 offers design themes in line with Kia's latest proposals worldwide, such as Optima, despite having been designed in its entirety for Chinese customers and their needs.

The interiors offer leather steering wheel, starter button, velvet upholstery and six trim levels with a growing range of accessories. With a length of 4.37 meters and the step of 2.57, the K2 offers great space inside and a trunk by a whopping 500 liters, with split rear seats to further increase capacity.

The range would be based on propoulsori 1.4 petrol 107 bhp, capable of 6.1 l/100 km with average speed manual transmission (6.4 with the automatic) and the 1.6 123 hp, coupled to automatic and capable of only 6, 4 l/100 km.
