Lancia Ypsilon not disembark in the USA

New York Motor Show 2011 has been learned that the 2011 Lancia Ypsilon version will have its stars and stripes. Most likely the decision of the Italian House not to bring up the Ypsilon in the U.S. was dictated by the fact that you want to bet on a single car model in the U.S. for trying to sell more cars as possible and to provide a unique showcase to the Fiat 500 .

In this way, the Fiat 500 would have a free field in the U.S. market in contrast to what would happen if it was launched a Chrysler Ypsilon, which would be too close in terms of features and performance to the 500. The head of the Lancia brand and Chrysler, Olivier Francois, New York Motor Show 2011 has suggested that Chrysler might not enter the C segment, which instead seemed virtually a done deal.

In this range would remain the same active only Dodge brand and most likely the realization of the model is also not far away. Dodge will focus very much for this C-segment vehicle efficiency and competitiveness, however, have always been characteristics of his Dodge.
