Lotus 2011: no contribution from the Government for the public

Unfortunately it was announced bad news for Lotus, the Government would in fact refusing to allow her some much-needed state funding that the British manufacturer would be needed to grow and to create new models presented during the Paris Motor Show 2010. Therefore, since the dry not by the executive English, Lotus could realistically consider the idea of opening establishments in foreign countries to produce its new vehicles, including Esprit and Elan.

Lotus had in fact demonstrated to the British government, the need for economic support of the 27.5 million pounds, that the executive would have to withdraw from the Regional Growth Fund (RGF), the national reserves amounting to 1.4 billion. The brand of Hethel wanted to use the amount required for the Government to build a new plant at home, at the headquarters, which led to the country less than 1200 new jobs.

In past years the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills had already allocated 450 million pounds for groups Jaguar-Land Rover, Bentley and General Motors. However Lotus still has a chance to make a new request for funds by the beginning of July and if this were to meet the executive, Lotus would continue to "play at home." Different affair, however, if the government had a negative opinion of the new ruling in that case you might look around to get Lotus to produce new vehicles outside the UK, there are rumors in the plants of Magna-Steyr in Graz (Austria) and Valmet (Finland), already in possession of previous experience.
