Mercedes A Class Concept, change in style

At first glance it seems everything except that it is a Class A. Instead, the Concept to be presented at the Shanghai Auto Show 2011 just ahead of the next generation model of access to the range Mercedes. Until the second series, the Class A was a model designed especially for women. A car with the other half of the sky could do very chic urban trips, but also very (too) quiet.

In reality this is not the Mercedes that was sorry too, because the car not only sell well, it had diversified its customers, lowering the average age well. A wave of youth and femininity, in short, but had dangerously away the male audience (despite the presence of the sportier coupe version).

And so the Mercedes-Benz has decided to change course and bring a Class A that best interprets the values of sportsmanship and emotional design, which can intercept a target more demanding. The concept leaves the lines of an MPV and buy a more slender, almost coupe. We do not know how many of the design solutions for Class A concept version will also come as standard, but it certainly differs from the current generation is remarkable.

After a fresh look so radical, the future model will have what it takes to break through? Probably yes, because in this segment can not go wrong and a choice of this type is the result of careful market analysis. The new A-Class will arrive by throwing down the gauntlet to small sporting category, boasting all the exclusivity of the "star" on the hood.

The injection of testosterone is probably what was needed, and allow the new A-Class to maintain or raise the success to date. But the female audience that has appreciated so much over the years? For mothers there will be other chic, from the largest (but not too much) Class B.
