Nissan Compact Sports Concept - Shanghai Motor Show 2011

Nissan has submitted to the Shanghai Motor Show a new prototype, called the Compact Sports Concept. This is a particularly attractive proposition for its genesis: the car was born from a collaboration between the parent and its subsidiary Nippon China. Definitely smaller than a Micra, the Compact Sports Concept measures only 348 cm long and 144 high, with 8 less than the same Micra.

The interior is characterized by a tissue similar to that of running shoes and red inserts that enhance the sportiness, while the powertrain segment consists of a 1.6 turbo 190 hp combined with a CVT, which simulates a six-speed transmission ratios on . The Nissan does not have production plans for this model, but has said it was "designed for young customers in emerging countries."
