Peugeot SXC

Peugeot will present at the show in Shanghai (21-28 April) the all-new concept car SXC, designed by local design center and equipped with a new hybrid scheme built from the 1.6 petrol. The Shanghai Cross Concept (hence the acronym SXC) reworks and develops the design language already used by SR1, BB1, EX1 and HR1, vehicles with reduced environmental impact that have helped to redefine the brand image through the use of a new front grille and bonnet, interspersed with a deep scratch.

This prototype uses it as a hybrid platform that consists of the 1.6 four-cylinder version with 220 hp and an electric motor positioned in the rear, that emulate the operation of HYbrid4 while delivering a total output of 315 hp. This association allows the SXC to walk an average of 20.7 km / l with emissions of 143 g / km, in addition to the availability of four-wheel drive with electric motor that drives the rear wheels.

The body of the car is characterized by SXC fold doors to the tailpipes drowned in the bumper and the rear lights to boomerang, and the distribution of volumes is quite pleasant in spite of 4.87 meters in length, 3.2 in width el ' 1.60 in height. During the exhibition China will also be showing the Peugeot 508 modified to meet specific local market.
