Subaru: WRX STi English the extra 20 hp

The British subsidiary of the only Subaru has made for the UK market an improved version of the WRX STi, the notchback variant of the Impreza more sporty. The 2.5 boxer of Japan, delivers 320 hp instead of 300 hours, but also makes a significant leap forward in terms of elasticity: the maximum torque of the engine is changed from 407 to 450 Nm at 4000 rpm to 3400 rpm.

Due to the increase in performance, the engine is capable of providing much better acceleration at the WRX STi: the 0-100 drops from 5.2 to 4.9 s. Included in the list price of three volumes of English, came also a new navigation system with iPod input and Bluetooth connectivity. As reported by AutoExpress, this sort of special series model will be available only from April 1 to June 30.
