Toyota's new appeal in the U.S.

The U.S. division of Toyota has announced a voluntary recall of about 214.000Rav4 built in 2007-2008 and 94,000 between Highlander and Highlander Hv 2008. The problem encountered by the House - that he wanted to clarify that the measure does not affect any other model of the group - would be in airbag sensors, which may work incorrectly by side suddenly burst devices "drop down".

Meanwhile, the management of Nissan has announced that owners of affected vehicles will be contacted to the call via e-mail from the month of May so that all cars will be progressively monitored. Toyota also stated that the measure does not affect the Rav4 and Highlander sales in other countries around the world, because they are not equipped with the same sensor that includes the activation of airbags in a side impact.
