Green X Student Days 2011, the name of the event, which in the experimental site of Michelin Ladoux, allowed interested students to hone their vehicles engaged in the Shell Eco Marathon 2011, in constant competition to take as many km as possible to a vehicle with only one liter of gasoline.
The Formula Student electricity instead, provides for the debut of new electric technologies such as Active Wheel Michelin fact, the first motorized wheel electric propulsion. Such vehicle prototype made by students were tested on 19 experimental runs Michelin located in Ladoux, where they were joined for the occasion by his Michelin technicians, who obviously were able to better advise the engineers of tomorrow.
This event has enabled Michelin to make students aware of all the complex reality behind the development of a tire, in addition to career opportunities that they might have for studies completed within the company. In fact, only for the current year is expected to recruitment by the French tire, of 500 people, including engineers and technical staff for the Department of Research and Development, to ensure in the future, what has always been in Over the years the strength of Michelin, which is its propensity for innovation and mark its position as a leader among manufacturers of tires.
