Audi S7 Sportback: no camouflage at the 'Ring

We still lack a few months but we can show to debut without camouflage the new Audi S7 Sportback, waiting at the Frankfurt Motor Show scheduled Sept. 15 to 25. The sedan-coupe German surprise near the Nurburgring circuit, shows a design characterized by a large front bumper (where there are two major air intakes with honeycomb grille), 20-inch alloy wheels, new brakes and specific structure, the rear is the inevitable four exhaust pipes.

If the aesthetics of the new Audi S7 does not upset the lines of the A7 (the lovers of the enlarged body should wait for the RS), the most interesting news will come from the engines. Following the new philosophy of Ingolstadt, will say goodbye to the S7 aspirated V10 5200cc unit to make room for the new 4.0 turbocharged V8 engine (also expected on the new Audi S6), with a power exceeding 420 hp and matched to Four-wheel drive.

By choosing to mount the unit to eight cylinders, the new Audi S7 will declare a lower consumption and reduced emissions compared to the ten-cylinder version. Not only that thanks to the lighter front, the German engineers were able to improve the dynamic qualities and driving pleasure.
