Chevrolet Impala Police Car

The standard version will be launched for another few months, as the model year 2012, but the new Chevrolet Impala is ready and prepared to enter the U.S. park police cars, in place of the now outmoded Ford Crown Victoria. The U.S. uses the new sedan 3.6 V6 engine with direct injection, which delivers 305 hp and provides a starting 0-96 mph time of 6.6 seconds to appreciate.

This six-cylinder proves far more sophisticated and performance of the former Ford unit, with displacement of 3.9 liters and 233 hp of maximum power soon. The automatic transmission gains but two reports (four to six) and a more appropriate operating logic, which reduces fuel consumption by 28% up to 7.1 km / l in city driving and over 11 on the highway.

Impala Police Car will be the first car of General Motors to use the new StabilTrak stability control, and numerous steering and brakes to help improve handling.
