Mini: 10 models for the next generation

If the current Mini range seems very large, be prepared for new surprises in the future. With the imminent presentation of versions 2 seats, you can count on the Mini hatch variants, Clubman, Countryman, convertible, coupe and spider, but according to Norbert Reithofer there is room to do much more with the Mini brand.

In an interview with Whatcha ', the head of the Mini brand has in fact confirmed the investment of 500 million pounds for its plant in Oxford, in view of the next generation of Mini products expected in 2013, and added that the new platform will allow UK to create a family of over 10 models.

Among these is easy to imagine the coupe version of the Countryman, presented at the Detroit Motor Show as a concept and the small Paceman Rocketman, with shortened step is to become the version entrylevel. Assuming for a moment that the latter two versions will be added to new versions of existing variants, the list could then count eight variations: Mini Reithoffer spoke of 10 different, so there is still room for a surprise effect.

It could be the Beachcomber ever born, as well as some construction supersport all to imagine. There will, of course, future concept car to discover the group's intentions regarding the future of BMW Mini.
