Renault Megane RS Trophy: only 500 copies

Renault Megane RS Trophy presents a new, limited edition version designed for enthusiasts of sporty driving. Derived from the RS model, the new trans-Alpine will be marketed in just 500 copies in France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Austria. Pushed by the 4-cylinder 2.0 turbo engine with 265 horsepower (an increase of 15 hp compared to RS) and a maximum torque of 360 Nm (+20) available from 3000 to 5000 revolutions per minute, the new Renault Megane RS Trophy sees rise the turbo boost pressure to 2.5 bar (+0.2), declares a power to weight ratio of 5.9 kg / hp and can count on a new exhaust system designed to increase the intake of air to the engine.

As usual the performance of the latest Renault Sport department will be highly significant: the Megane RSTrophy reach a top speed of 254 km / h (+ 4 km / h), will start from 0 to 100 km / h in six seconds (- 0.1 seconds) and will cover a kilometer from a standstill in 25.4 seconds (-0.3 s).

Combined with the Cup chassis and six-speed manual transmission, the French sports declaring an average consumption of just 8.2 l/100 km (-0.2), with carbon dioxide emissions of 190 g / km (-5 g / km). At the wheel of the new Megane RS Trophy will be difficult to go unnoticed: only available in the colors Sirius Yellow, Glacier White, Cassiopée Etoile Black and Grey, the French sports stands for the black roof, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps, alloy wheels from 19 dedicated Gloss Black Steev-inch Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires in size 235/35R19 91Y, brand new rear spoiler and decals on the sides.

To find live the new Renault Megane RS Trophy will have to wait until January 17: The new French world premiere debut at the German circuit of Nurburgring.
