BMW Z2 in Geneva?

That BMW is planning to launch new models with front wheel drive is now well known, but some of these could make his debut this year, even in less than a month to the next exhibition in Geneva, is really nothing new. According to the latest rumors it seems that the House could lead propeller in Switzerland, Z2, small front-drive roadster, whose debut series was planned as early as 2016.

If the rumors are confirmed that would mean that in Monaco are more advanced than one might imagine with the development of a front-wheel drive layout. The petrol engines are both normal, both hybrid and possibly electricity. Among the combustion engine, there may be the 2-liter turbo and a new 3-cylinder 1.6-liter.

With regard to the forms expected some sort of restricted Z4, although present in the render network is known as, not having even a sketch, it is difficult to know with certainty what the look of the car. Almost certainly, the presence of the hood in cloth instead of the much more cumbersome and expensive folding hardtop.

Then the likely future development of a coupe. What we do know is that the BMW Z2 will be a competitor to the Mazda MX-5 and the future of small convertible Volkswagen Audi and VW.
