Geneva Motor Show 2011: Saab 9-3 Convertible Independence Edition

After a year of independence from GM Saab Home celebrates its independence with the launch of a limited edition called Independence Edition 9-3 Convertible. By chance that this is also the 25th anniversary since the first Saab Convertible in the market and the heads of the Swedish company wanted to pay homage to their car in this way.

The Saab 9-3 Convertible Independence Edition is available on the market with a special metallic orange paint, with 18-inch five-spoke with blacks and a special coating treatment with the carbon fiber that gives it an aggressive and light weight. The engine of the Saab 9-3 Convertible Independence Edition 2.0 is a direct-injection four-cylinder with 220 horses, and Europe will come with the 1.9 turbo diesel 180 hp.

Then reach even gas engines with E85 compatibility. 366 Saab 9-3 Convertible are to be produced, one for each day of the separation of GM and Saab. In all likelihood your car will be presented next week at the Geneva International Motor Show 2011.
