The Russian manufacturer Marussia, at the launch of Virgin MVR-02 Formula 1 for the 2011 season, has published the supercar B1 for the UK market, providing new and interesting information. According to data collected by AutoExpress, only 2999 copies will be produced and confirmed the choice of an aluminum frame with carbon fiber body to reduce weight by 1100 kg.
The range of engines will rely on a V6 3.5-liter 300-hp V6 and a Nissan source in version 2.8 turbo 360 hp and 420 edited by Cosworth. The customization of each specimen will be key to attracting customers, estimated about 250 in England, which will have to pay at least £ 110,000, approximately Euro 130,000 at current exchange rates.
Later will be given the familiar B2, with the same basic mechanics and lines other than B1 and B3 GT, a dedicated version for racing. The Russian manufacturer, however, has also in Serbian sports F2 SUV and promises to be submitted to as many as 7 new Frankfurt Motor Show 2011.
