The B99 is a Jaguar concept car that Bertonte, so B, presented at the Geneva Show 2011 which opened its doors yesterday. The number 99 stands for the years of the Turin bodywork that before this has created 5 other Jaguar models. The B99 is a Jaguar 3 volumes which resembles' Iong the XJ, but its size is different, it is long 4 feet wide and 1.95 m.
The bodywork is all hand techniques and the joke is Mike Robinson, Director of the Bertone design with retractable rear spoiler that gives that effect from Gran Turismo. The Jaguar B99 by Bertone will be equipped with a hybrid engine with thermal gas and a supercharged 1.4-liter 170-horse power that drives an electric generator which are connected to lithium ion batteries coupled to two electric motors to 204 hp each.
The autonomy of this fireball from a total of 570 hp is about 700 km and its CO2 emissions amounted to 30 g / km. At the Geneva Motor Show 2011, Jaguar B99 is also present in its GT version that is larger than the original and has an output of 980 horsepower.
