The Supreme Court has sentenced a motorist to 30 days in jail (plus damages) for having parked his car inside the courtyard of the house, thus preventing the release of other vehicles. Compounding his position that another condominiums the same building, unable to move, she felt bad for the stress and frustration that it could not remove.
One consequence of the car park "wild" that had triggered a charge of domestic violence, accused the Court of Cassation confirmed. Nothing is served at the defensive strategy of the lawyers of the driver who blocked the passage, which have focused on the fact that their client had lost his keys, and so the car had not moved quickly.
But judges have ordered that the punishment had not bothered to inform the other party of its inability to move the half, if not an hour and a half after the request of the complainant. This ruling gives confidence to all those who, especially in certain Italian cities, are struggling daily with the rude guy.
On the other hand, one month in prison seems rather excessive for a car running badly, even with all the consequences. Woman guilty of having obstructed the movement, however, will not one day in jail: the conviction is set aside because it was barred, since the event occurred in early March 2002.
Remains valid but the order to pay damages.
