Anderson is one of Germany's most prolific studio time. The German tuner's latest creation, called Superior Black Edition is built on dell'affascinante Aston Martin DBS, joins the long list of tuner Teutonic supercar developed by members of the line Black Edition as the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the Audi R8 V10 5.2 or the Mercedes CL 65 AMG, to name a few.
All these cars have in common obviously superlative performance, but also share a 'particular aesthetic characterized by a black coat and matte finishes made of precious carbon fiber. The noble, light material was in fact used for the new airfoils including the front splitter and side skirts, but also for the construction of mirrors and door frames, while the crystals were obscured to protect privacy.
The color black dominates the stylish interiors that are embellished with fine high-containment seats upholstered in Nappa leather and Alcantara with red stitching. These coatings are also taken from the center console and door panels and alternate with abundant carbon panels that accentuate the feeling of luxury and sportiness of the Anglo-Saxon sport.
As for the technical part, the German factory engineers have taken on the noble from 5.9-liter V12 engine built by builder Gaydon not so invasive, but improving the responsiveness and flexibility, with a few targeted changes. The electronic serial has been replaced with a more powerful, while the exhaust system has gained new sports catalysts and unusual collectors "racing" that allowed a shift of power from 517 hp to 565 hp at the same time achieving a saving of total weight of 21 kg.
The handling of the car is insured by a new electronically controlled hydraulic sports suspension, can be set by a control located on the center console of the car. In addition, the Superior Black Edition can count on a new set of performance tires with a section of 255 to 295 for those in front and the rear, combined with four 21-inch alloy wheels strictly black and which is in contrast with red brake calipers with 380 mm discs.
