BMW Z4 28th: confirmed on 4 cylinder turbo 245 hp

BMW will present at the show in New York the 28th Z4, equipped with the new 2-liter 4-cylinder Turbo Twinpower already offered on the new X1 28th. Z4 on the 4-cylinder engine will replace the 30th Z4 3-liter 6-cylinder aspirated 258 hp, with an output of 245 hp and 350 Nm at 125th usual rounds, giving you 'more torque (+40 Nm) and a lower total weight .

The new engine with aluminum base with dual-stage turbine, a system for continuous monitoring Valvetronic valve lift and direct injection at 200 bar will also offer lower fuel consumption by about 20% compared with 6-cylinder, in conjunction with automatic transmission 8-speed system and the Start-Stop: the X1 with the same engine says an average of 7.9 l/100 km and the current Z4 30th does not go beyond 8.5 l/100 km.
