From Tuesday 1 April 2011 who wants to get the license to drive motorcycles, tricycles and four light (so-called microcar) is based on an examination of practice, following the rock of the theory test. This measure was introduced by Article 116 of the Highway Code and exempts those who have already submitted the application form, even if that bonus is only valid if the theory test is passed at the first attempt; in the opposite case, the candidate must restart the practice and therefore subject to the obligation of the practical test.
This obviously differs depending on the vehicle used: who uses a scooter will perform the classic test of skill and fitness (slalom between the pins, eight, braking test), while for the microcar will be required braking exercises, parking, reversing and driving in traffic.
