In several European countries now is the time of the launch of the Opel Insignia 4-cylinder engine with 1.4 liter turbo gasoline and ecoFLEX with power from 140 horses. This ecoFLEX with the 1.4-liter engine is not an absolute novelty on the Insignia, it was also present under the hood of the Astra and Meriva.
The Opel Insignia in this way is replacing the 1.8-liter 16-valve engine that had the same power but torque is less. In fact, the 1, 4-liter turbo ecoFLEX has 200 Nm at 1,850 rpm, while the old engine had 175 to 3,800 rpm. The new Insignia will be also equipped with Stop & Start system combined with the new engine that will bring CO2 emissions to 136 g / km.
The price of Opel Insignia with a new engine is expected to remain virtually unchanged.
