The German tuner Novitec Rosso, specializing in the Italian sports the likes of Ferrari and Maserati, has unveiled its latest creation made on the basis of one of the most fascinating and rare sports in recent times: the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider produced only 500 units. The Teutonic studio has seen fit to include in its comprehensive selection of mechanical preparations with a kit designed for the powerful 4.7-liter V8 - Maserati of origin - which equips the Italian discovery, capable of delivering in its original setting on 450 hp and 480 Nm of torque, dumped on the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox with steering wheel controls.
After the treatment Novitec, the engine has been changed thanks to a supercharger driven by a toothed belt connected directly to the tree, unable to get a surplus of power also at very low levels. The boost pressure was limited to 0.37 bar, while the mechanical system of charging is completed by a water-to-air intercooler and injectors dedicated radiator.
Furthermore, it is also being revised engine management electronics through the use of a new unit, all supported by a new sports exhaust system in stainless steel with four terminals. This targeted changes have allowed an increase in the maximum power of 150 hp, for a total of 600 hp, while torque has increased by 78 Nm, thus arriving at an altitude of 558 Nm, with a consequent increase in speed performance very impressive.
The 8C Spider by Novitec it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds and touch a maximum speed of 305 km / h. The performance upgrade is of course coincided with an adjustment of the handling performance obtained with the adoption of a new adjustable sports suspension and performance tires made by Pirelli, measuring 255/30 ZR 21 for the front wheels and 315 / 25 ZR 22 for the rear.
The huge tires alloy wheels dedicated surround model NA3 - broken down into three elements - respectively 21 and 22 inches. As per tradition, the German tuner lets the customer to customize as you like the interior of their car with a wide choice of fine leather and Alcantara, available in a wide range of shades to match the livery of the body.
