Hot Wheels: jump record at Indianapolis

In the U.S. viewers of sports events like "the show within the show." And the Indianapolis 500 is no exception, as there was held an exhibition to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the event. A sponsor of the event was "Hot Wheels", a famous line of toy cars for Mattel, which has re-created a full-scale runway similar to that sold in the shops (for building which have occurred several weeks of work).

The car, prepared by the Team Hot Wheels with suspension ad hoc, it is literally "thrown" down a ramp with well over 100% and has continued for a hundred yards in the plan until you reach the trampoline: at this point has taken off that made it possible to break the world record jump, reaching a distance of 108.8 meters.

"As a child - said the stuntman, Tanner Foust - I always dreamed one day to make a leap like this. After carefully prepared the test together with the staff of Hot Wheels I decided to try my hand at this official test." Tanner Foust is a professional stuntman who has appeared in several films as a stunt double for famous actors during dangerous scenes on board the car.
