Over time, the Chinese market is an increasingly important cropping and manufacturers are well aware of the premium segment. The confirmation comes from yet another BMW that was presented in an exclusive event held recently in Beijing, the BMW M3 Carbon Edition, a limited edition made exclusively for the wealthy Chinese of the House of Bavaria.
The arrival of this brand new version of the M3 coupe, follows on the heels of the success inaugurated by two very different versions of special dedicated to China or the M3 and the recent Tiger Edition Matte Edition, launched last April and is characterized by a dull livery. As you might guess from the name, the BMW M3 Carbon Edition is enhanced by extensive use of carbon fiber, which affected both the exterior and the interior of the car.
The body of the German Sports has a special white pearl paint enhanced by the contrast of the two black stripes running along the sides of the car, while in the bottom of the door makes a fine show the letters "Carbon Edition". The car's sporty look is further enhanced by the unusual air intakes on the bonnet and the special multi-spoke alloy wheels 19-inch glossy black.
The interior reflects the aggressiveness of the interior with new inserts always made with the noble and lightweight material covering the dashboard and door panels, while the seats contain high, covered with skin, take up the carbon weave. As for the mechanical part, BMW has not made any changes for the excellent 4.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine capable of delivering 420 hp well.
The BMW M3 Carbon Edition will be completed in only 111 copies all numbered and strictly recognizable by a special metal plate located on the right side of the bridge in front of the passenger. The cost of this rare version will be 1.23 million yuan (about € 130,000 at current exchange rates), a price certainly not indifferent, but justified the use of precious materials and solid from the small number of copies for sale.
