It can be said that Fiat Freemont started on the right foot: after crossing the finish line of 3,000 customers, the new SUV on the collaboration between Fiat and Chrysler has in fact already collected 6,000 orders in the first week of presales, confirming the great attention of towards this market segment doing well and hope the Italian house, eager for some time to get in there with a good product, capable of accommodating a diverse audience and cross that over to look a certain robustness handling and comfort.
The occasion was then the synergy with the American manufacturer, which has been made of its range as the pouring of the Dodge Journey, which is practically the Freemont "twin", representing in all respects to the corresponding Italian version of the American SUV. The qualities are in fact several of Freemont, the versatility offered by the 7 seats as standard with a third row of seats of normal size, until you open the door to 90 degrees for easy access on board, which combines a good equipment which includes, among other things, 6 airbags, ABS with the Brake Assist system, ESP with Hill-Holder, anti-tilt system (ERM), cruise control, child booster seat that allows optimal and safe for children and an infotainment system 4.3-inch touchscreen and radio CD/MP3 with USB and Bluetooth connectivity to interface the system with other devices.
The range includes propulsion systems instead of the 2.0 Multijet II generation, with variable turbine geometry and combined with front-wheel drive, an engine available in two different power levels: 140 or 170 horses. They will come after the four-wheel drive that will benefit from the presence of the turbodiesel 2.0 Multijet II 170 hp and the 3.6 V6 petrol from 276 horses belonging to the family home and Chrysler Pentastar, offered, such as diesel, automatic transmission.
The list starts with the Fiat Freemont 25,700 € 28,700 € and arrives at the Urban version with more powerful 170 horsepower 2.0 Multijet.
