Jeep Grand Cherokee: here comes the Italian diesel

With the arrival of the new common rail turbodiesel V6 3.0 range of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee is full, but also is enriched with a modern engine and the great technical content to be in the top of the preferences of Italian drivers. The 6-cylinder with Multijet technology II pulsate under the hood of the Laredo and Limited versions, which will be pushed out by this new-generation turbodiesel, and the richest Overland.


Equipped with electronic direct injection with Common Rail injectors capable of working at 1,800 bar, the V6 in the new Grand Cherokee has a new patented technology with Fiat Powertrain Digital Injection Rate Shaping and is credited with two power levels: 190 hp and 241 hp. The torque varies from 44.9 kgm less powerful version of the 56 kgm of high-performance variant.

Thanks to new technology, this engine can reduce fuel consumption by 17% and CO2 emissions by the same percentage. The Overland's new 3-liter V6 is coupled to the Quadra-Lift air springs ranging in height from the floor of the car in five levels according to current needs. Moreover, in all versions is available Selec-Terrain that allows to better address all road conditions.
