Mercedes-Benz design study points to "60 years of Mercedes-Benz Unimog

The Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks (MBS), in which the vehicle Unimog series, Econic and Zetros are combined, had at the celebration of "60 years of Mercedes-Benz Unimog, on 3 June 2011 at the Daimler plant Worth presents a design study. The design study combines past and future of the Unimog to very avant-garde fashion.

Basis of the design study is the chassis of all-terrain Unimog U 5000 The conventional and known Unimog unique feature, the coil springs are, the concept car painted red, while Bertrand Janssen and his team let the beefy hood in typical Mercedes-Benz line and wings shine in a fresh green.

The clearly visible, curved frame is finished with high quality costumes that were milled from aluminum blocks. A strong visual impression of the four equal-sized wheels give the 5-star alloy wheels design. The "design study, 60 years of the Unimog is not a prototype for a new series. This is clearly visible but that the Mercedes-Benz Unimog will continue to have an innovative character and a high degree of flexibility in design and construction.
