Seat Alhambra 4x4

Seat Alhambra range continues to expand on the Italian market by launching the variant 4 × 4, which is equipped with permanent four wheel drive type of Haldex. The Alhambra is powered by 4 × 4 in powerstep 2.0 TDI 140 bhp, coupled with 6-speed manual transmission. According to the house, the powertrain thus formed is able to provide the combined cycle fuel consumption of 6.0 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of just 158 g / km, remarkable for a minivan "full size".

Seat on the stand at Geneva will be presented new versions of the Copa Ibiza, Leon, Altea and Altea XL. The new Seat Alhambra earns permanent four wheel drive and combines the 2.0 TDI: the big Spanish-wheel-drive minivan, officially called the Alhambra 4 × 4, will debut on the Italian market during the summer. The four wheel drive system, ensures Seat, was developed not only to improve driving safety, but also the pleasure of driving, in line with the philosophy of the brand.

The Alhambra 4 × 4 relies on an electronically controlled hydraulic clutch, whose most salient feature is the arrangement at the end of the drive shaft, in front of the rear differential. The reed valve in an oil bath within the clutch unit can be continuously compressed by hydraulic pressure through the control unit which constantly analyzes the driving conditions.
