BMW Group and PSA Peugeot Citroen will collaborate to develop hybrid technologies, investing around 100 million euros in the project, titled "BMW Peugeot Citroen Electrification" and will be operational in two sites, one close to Monaco and one of Bavaria's plant in Mulhouse Monaco will be dedicated to research and buying, the site of Mulhouse instead will focus on production.
This unique joint venture between the two groups will bring 400 new jobs only in Monaco by the end of this year. Another 250 new jobs in the factory in Mulhouse, which will begin production in 2014, the year in which the components products will be mounted on the car brands participating in the project.
