With regard to the national reconstruction efforts in Japan, but also the availability of parts, Honda has decided to produce cars in the works Sayama and Suzuka to Sunday, 3 April 2011, suspended. Regarding a resumption of the operation from 4 to April, Honda decide promptly on the basis of progress made in restoring the supply of components and parts as well as the rest of Japanese society as a whole.

Japan: Honda extended production break
Honda has decided against the backdrop of the earthquake in Japan, the production break in the works Saitama, Suzuka, and Kumamoto (cycles) to 23 March extended. Earthquake: Honda supports rescue efforts
In support of the national rescue efforts, Honda has decided to close from today all production activities in the works Sayama, Ogawa, Tochigi, Hamamatsu, and Suzuka until further notice. The production at the Kumamoto from 15 to 20 March suspended. Of 14 to 20 March, interrupted the scheduled operation in all Honda plants in the region, Tochigi, where there has been major damage.

Geneva 2011: Honda redesigned the Accord
Honda will unveil at the Geneva Motor Show (1.-3.13.2011) the revised Accord. The model is refreshed visually something that gets more efficient engines and optimized chassis. Also the sound insulation has been improved. New to the program, the Accord Type S with 132 kW / 180 hp 2.2 i-DTEC diesel engine.
The new model year must be identified on fine contoured headlamps with clear glass indicators, modified bumpers with more accented air intakes and a full chrome grille. The rear received a decent polish. The upper trim levels Lifestyle, Executive, and Type S have standard bi-xenon headlamps with active light (ACL) and high beam automatic.
