Spyker Group: soon to be renamed the Swedish Automobile

As soon as the authorities provide the green light, thus approving the agreement, the Spyker team will change its name to Swedish Automobile NV. This evolution is the basis for granting the first tranche of aid (30 million euro), which will be delivered to the Dutch manufacturer to settle debts with the 800 suppliers involved in the production of Saab cars.

A second tranche, amounting to 65 million, will be granted as a result to match the purchase of 24% of the stake, valued at € 4.19 per share.

Jan Ake Jonsson, Saab resigns and arrives in China and Russia

The President and CEO Jan Ake Jonsson, Saab has given his resignation from office that has seen many a Swedish company for six years. The post left vacant by Jan Ake Jonsson will be temporarily taken by Victor Muller, the former head of Spyker Cars, which recently incorporated Saab. "I was in Saab Automobile for most of my 40 year career, six of them as President.

The last three years have been very challenging and forced me to just focus on the job, now is the time to devote to other things, "said Jonsson. Saab has also announced that China and Russia will enter the market through its importers Armand China Automobile Import and Trading Co. LTD.

Spyker: sale of 32 million Euro

Spyker Cars is for sale. That's right, Spyker, with the company in the UK CPP Global Holdings Ltd have signed an agreement of understanding for the sale of Spyker Cars. The transaction cost is around € 32 million and its assets will go into a new company that will be based in Coventry. Victor Muller, CEO Spyker said that now the turnover of the Dutch firm has increased and that the business has turned into a fish too big for a small pond.
