Fiat 500 "The Italian Woman" by Malangatana Valente Ngwenya

What you see in this picture is the Fiat 500 is created by African Malangatana Valente Ngwenya, who died Jan. 5. This work, entitled "The Italian Woman", was produced to celebrate the opening of a new concession of Maputo, Mozambique. The car was auctioned and the proceeds were donated to the "Malangatana Foundation" which helps African citizens most in need.

"The recent death of Malangatana - say the members of the organization - did not allow him to personally present this to the world. This task fell upon us, the Foundation closely involved in the project and, in small part, has allowed us to pay homage to a great African artist of all time, a cultural icon in Mozambique and, above all, an extraordinary man.

Mitsuoka Himiko electric

The bizarre Mitsuoka Himiko, curious creature consisting of a Japanese Mazda MX-5 wearing a dress back, was presented in a variation of electricity. A cure conversion, TGMY Japan, which made the car to a local salon dedicated to electric cars. Announcing an amazing figure, at least on paper: 550 km range.

It is worth to say the least over the top, much closer to those expressed by EREV more developed than those of pure power. However, beyond reasonable doubt, we are the technical characteristics of this prototype: Himiko, the zero emission is powered by an electric motor coupled to a two speed transmission and powered by an advanced lithium polymer battery pack, technology has several advantages over lithium-ion batteries.
