Jaguar Supercharged Academy: three weekends on the track with XFR and XKR

Franciacorta, Adria, Vallelunga: these are the three circuits that from next July 5 Supercharged host the Academy, the new racing school created by Jaguar Italy. The English house winks to customers and offers them sporting this exciting new course, which will be assisted by professional drivers, who will be there on purpose to make the most of the 510 hp XFR and XKR.

Among the activities there will be lessons in safe driving, in which participants will learn how to manage potentially critical situations at high speeds, such as avoidance of an unexpected obstacle or dynamic control of the vehicle approaches the limit. The schedule for the Academy Supercharged starts with the weekend of July 5th at the Autodromo di Franciacorta, continues Sept.

Villa d'Este: This year there will also be the bikes!

The gardens of the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este and Villa Erba in Cernobbio, hosted this year in addition to beautiful custom-we all seek, but also a representation of the "cousins" on two wheels. Envision Buick Concept - Shanghai Motor Show 2011

Buick launched today at the Shanghai Auto Show Concept Envision, crossover prototype that allegedly anticipates a future production model. Removing the imagination with the spectacular doors, solar panels on the roof and alloy wheels 22 ", there is very close to the final product, designed explicitly-Buick-states for the growing Chinese market.

Nissan Compact Sports Concept - Shanghai Motor Show 2011

Nissan has submitted to the Shanghai Motor Show a new prototype, called the Compact Sports Concept. This is a particularly attractive proposition for its genesis: the car was born from a collaboration between the parent and its subsidiary Nippon China. Definitely smaller than a Micra, the Compact Sports Concept measures only 348 cm long and 144 high, with 8 less than the same Micra.

The interior is characterized by a tissue similar to that of running shoes and red inserts that enhance the sportiness, while the powertrain segment consists of a 1.6 turbo 190 hp combined with a CVT, which simulates a six-speed transmission ratios on . The Nissan does not have production plans for this model, but has said it was "designed for young customers in emerging countries." And who knows, maybe soon, the Chinese youth will have a hot-hatch to measure ...

Donkervoort: get the 24H of Dubai Special Edition

Donkervoort, a small Dutch manufacturer known for producing lightweight supercar inspired by the Lotus Seven, has launched special equipment 24H of Dubai Special Edition of its D8GT D8 270 and 270. Peugeot concept hybrid petrol and 508 for China at the Shanghai Auto Show

Upcoming Shanghai Motor Show, Peugeot will have two important innovations, the 508 for the Chinese market and a concept car designed entirely in China and destined to lead to a debut novel hybrid gasoline. The French, having regard to the potential of the local market, has decided to bet on strong China, and announced that it will propose a new model every year there.

For the 508, which in Europe has exceeded 20% of its sales targets, Peugeot provides 65,000 sales annually in China: two 508 sedan will be manufactured and sold in the Asian country. The Peugeot range in China, which already includes the 3008, will expand further on 20 May with the launch of the RCZ.
