Mini JCW Roadster Spy Photos

The Mini Roadster was photographed at the Nurburgring in a JCW version, now with very little camouflage. Difficult, in fact, hide the details of the new 2-seater, now that the Mini coupe has been revealed. The Roadster will resume the main features, while maintaining the mobile wing tail and replacing the roof spoiler integrated with a simple roof.

From coupe stirred engines, starting with the 1.6 Turbo in progress by John Cooper Works 211 hp, 184 hp through the aspiration of the 122-hp Cooper S Cooper. Due to the nature than the sporty convertible 4 seats, we do not feel 100% to confirm even the petrol 1.6 and 2 liters and 143 hp from 112, although you probably will not make mini problems "philosophical" to propose to these variants.

Mini Roadster set to debut in March 2012

Now that the Mini Coupe was unveiled, it is logical to imagine the arrival of the roadster version in the short term. The two variants were in fact anticipated by both their concept at the show in Frankfurt 2009 and only a marketing decision has divided the destinies of the commercial models, derived from the same project.

The debut version will probably be fixed in March 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show, with specific strictly identical to the coupe in terms of equipment and engines. Compared to the concept of 2009, at least according to our latest spy photos, the roadster will be a different standard, especially for the size of the rear roll bar, placed at a height similar to that of the windscreen.
