Show New York 2011: Suzuki Kizashi will see a Turbo?

The prototype of Suzuki Kisazhi turbo engine with 580 horsepower, which is shown some time ago, could become reality. Motor Show 2011 New York it might be time to showcase the Suzuki Kizashi Turbo petrol version. It would be a big step forward for the Kizashi, which until now had only included the 2.4-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder with 180 hp power.

By the way, however, the future sports car market alone could be launched in North America and Europe. In the Old Continent only we can find a version of the Kizashi in Germany at a price of € 27,000.

Suzuki Kizashi: a Turbo version at the show in New York

Suzuki has announced important changes to the Kizashi at the next show in New York, but merely to say that the car would be an important step forward, without giving any specification. According LeftLane, referring to the American market for now, the news could be that the introduction of a turbo petrol engine, already anticipated in recent months from a prototype 580-hp.

The Kizashi, also available with all-wheel drive, is in fact always been proposed with the only naturally aspirated 2.4-liter 4-cylinder 180 hp, a choice which in part has limited the commercial success: the development of hybrid and V6 versions have in fact been Suzuki blocked after the passage of the VAG group.
