The Audi Q5 convertible may have its own version. The rumor is on the intentions of the leaders of Ingolstadt, who WOULD BE debating whether to create a variant discovery and limited to a precise number of copies of the famous SUV. The future Audi Q5 Audi Cross Cabriolet is based on the Cross Cabriolet Quattro presented in 2007 at the Los Angeles Motor Show, a prototype of a lounge which was nothing more than an exercise in style like many others, able to envision the line of what would become the Q5 and Q3, but no claim or promise to come to market.
But today, here come the rumors that Audi interested in a possible landing of this model on the market, though probably "revised and corrected" in some places. The reports indicate the Q5 Cabriolet features a fabric roof and a production in a limited edition of just 5,000 copies, with lots of special exhibitions to highlight the exclusive nature of the model.
In addition to what has transpired, it is assumed that the production could not be taken into account in the Audi, but entrusted to an outside partner that any person in the preparer German Karmann. If the rumors prove to be justified and if in fact the top Audi will give the green light to production, the new Q5 Cross convertible would follow the same path taken by his Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet, giving a stimulus to its main competitors and potentially opening a new niche market: the luxury SUV caught.
