BMW CSL 1M: possible, over 70,000 Euro

The interest in the BMW 1 Series M Coupe has proved likely to be higher than expected at home and the idea of a BMW CSL version is by no means been abandoned. The 1M is already sold out in some markets, such as English, and just in the UK Car Dealer Magazine has collected some statements by the BMW product manager, James Morrison, a CSL version is certainly possible and is an interesting challenge, but the weight reduction together with the rise of power, could lead to a price demanding more than 20,000 pounds (about € 22,800 at current exchange rates) compared to 1M, above the threshold of € 70,000.

A price worthy of a V8 M3, which has experienced a similar situation with the M3 GTS, proposal to more than 120,000 Euros. Meanwhile on the internet chasing rumors about the real existence of a 1M CSL in disguise, from 1M early Safety Car used in MotoGP, with revised trim, larger brakes and changes to the aerodynamics.
