BMW-Volkswagen: open warfare for control of SGL Group

For some time now BMW and Volkswagen are fighting to bring him SGL and all its know-how when it comes to carbon fiber, a material that will be crucial on the cars of the future. Monaco had scored a point in its favor initially signing a cooperation agreement with the company, but then came on the scene Volkswagen rising to 9.9% of the shares.

Now, Susanne Klatten, shareholder of BMW, has increased its share rising from 22 to 27.3%. The maneuver has not been exhausted: the Klatten (who many will remember for the sex scandal in which he was blackmailed by a gigolo) points to go up to 29% of SGL, to halt a possible flight of stairs by Volkswagen, which could adversely affect the business plans of Bavaria: BMW is investing heavily on carbon fiber, and have a direct rival with a strong weight in the board of directors of the provider reference is not something pleasant.
