The Hommage BMW 328 is shown in these new pics, taken within the framework of the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The concept was created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the birth of the BMW 328 and there could be no better occasion of the Italian competition on Lake Como for the official debut.
Built with a mix of carbon fiber, aluminum and CRFP partly reflects the design and proportions of the Vision ConnectedDrive concept presented in Geneva, with the formula of 2-seater roadster and the long bonnet. In the case of 328 Hommage, the lines have learned retro touches, such as glass headlamps and leather inserts, while the minimalist interior is home to the passenger side two instruments that recall the vintage chronographs.
Absent any technical detail, if not confirmation of the inevitable 3-liter 6-cylinder engine under the hood, another tribute to the original model.
