The fans present at the fair Classic Motor Cars in Bridgnorth, Shropshire (England), attended the first of the Jaguar E-Type Sgambati Lindner Nocker Low Drag Lightweight, designed version at the beginning of the '60s and produced in twelve specimens between 1963 and 1964. The car on show was the victim of a terrible accident right in 1964 and was kept in almost disastrous conditions for up to four years ago, when Jaguar gave impetus to a complete restoration.
Jaguar's engineers have spent just four years and over 7,000 hours of work to transform the body of the E-Type - in the 60s it was believed that it was not possible to initiate a restoration - in the original marching, even using 90% of the components of original car. The E-Type Lightweight Linder was the only modified car Jaguar German importer Peter Linder, who created a model for further lightened the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
