Mitsubishi update lists of the ASX and introduces the Italian version of the GPL bifuel Mivec 1.6 liter gasoline engine. The plant was designed by BRC and is fully compatible with the Stop & Go, the Start Stop proposed by Mitsubishi: this couple is not very common in trade patterns and the system allows, in car temperature to maintain the power GPL also in the counterattack.
The toroidal tank, 50 liters, filled up to 80% for 40 liters is positioned under the cargo area in place of spare tire. Faced with a loss of power of 1 kW and 3 Nm of torque, emissions reduction from 135 to 127 g / km for the model with Stop & Go and from 139 to 129 g / km for those without the system, with an average consumption combined respectively 7.8 and 7.9 l/100 km and a maximum speed of 183 km / h.
According to calculations by Mitsubishi, considering the current price of 0.776 euros per liter of LPG, the LPG ASX saves € 450 every 15,000 km compared to petrol and € 300 every 15,000 km compared to diesel model. In terms of price, the ASX has proposed GPL version only 2WD from € 20,450 for the preparation Invite, or $ 1,500 more than the petrol and 1300 Euros less than the corresponding Diesel.
In detail, the GPL is also available in richer allestmenti Invite (22,800 euros) and Intense Panoramic (25,000 euros).
